El Encuentro Anual LES Chile 2025, celebrado el 11 de marzo en Santiago, fue un evento clave para la comunidad de propiedad intelectual, innovación y transferencia tecnológica. Con la participación de representantes de las industrias más relevantes del país, keynotes inspiradoras y espacios de networking, la jornada dejó grandes reflexiones y conexiones estratégicas.
Una mirada estratégica hacia la propiedad intelectual Este evento reafirmó la importancia de la propiedad intelectual como herramienta fundamental para el desarrollo de modelos de negocio sostenibles y escalables. Las conversaciones generadas buscan fortalecer la gestión de activos intangibles en la innovación empresarial y fomentar la colaboración entre industria y academia.
Keynote Speaker: Sonja London Tuvimos el honor de escuchar a Sonja London, presidenta de Licensing Executives Society International (LESI), quien compartió su visión sobre el uso estratégico de la propiedad intelectual en la comercialización de tecnologías. Su experiencia en Nokia y TactoTek es una inspiración para todos los que trabajamos en la gestión de activos intangibles.

✔ “La mesa coja: estrategias de innovación en la industria… ¿sin propiedad intelectual?” Exploramos los desafíos de innovar en grandes industrias junto a Felipe Merino (Codelco), Conrad Von Igel (Cámara Chilena de la Construcción) y Cristián Doerr (Emerson). Se analizaron modelos de innovación abierta y cerrada y cómo la propiedad intelectual los impulsa.
✔ Vinculación Industria-Academia Ignacio Merino (HubTEC) presentó un framework para fortalecer la colaboración entre universidades y empresas, impulsando la transferencia tecnológica.
✔ Invirtiendo en un futuro sostenible: I+D, corporate venturing y propiedad intelectual Panel moderado por Alejandro Roca (OMPI) con insights clave de CMPC, Viña Concha y Toro, Copec y Carozzi. Se discutieron estrategias de propiedad intelectual aplicadas a la sostenibilidad y casos concretos de innovación sustentable.
✔ Revolución emergente: estrategias de PI en las nuevas industrias Moderado por Varinka Farren, con la participación de BancoEstado, Bio Insumos Nativa y StartupLab.01, donde se exploró el impacto de la propiedad intelectual en fintech, biotecnología y startups tecnológicas.

Conclusiones de la jornada El Encuentro Anual LES Chile 2025 dejó en claro que la propiedad intelectual no solo protege la innovación, sino que también impulsa el crecimiento empresarial, facilita la inversión y fomenta la colaboración entre distintos actores del ecosistema.

On March 11 in Santiago, the LES Chile Annual Meeting 2025 took place, solidifying itself as a key event for innovation in both traditional and emerging industries.
